Welcome to my blog! My name is Stephanie Fisher and I am a natural light photographer based in the Birmingham, Alabama area. I do on location sessions as well as studio sessions in my natural light studio located in Alabaster.

I try to keep this blog updated with both session sneak peeks, studio news as well as a little place to document my personal little world. I am positive you will hear stories of my soon-to-be-4 year old little girl quite often. :)

I am sure some would say that my style is a bit different (well, a lot different) than your standard portrait studio. I like for everyone to feel relaxed and just have fun! It is in those moments where my best work takes place.

September!

I can’t believe it’s already the first day of September! The holidays are going to be here before we know it…

Upon checking my calendar today I realized we have a few session spots still open for September since most have opted for October for their fall sessions. SO- if YOU would like your session in September, we’ve got an incentive for you. ;) Book your session (be it family, newborn, baby, kiddos) for a date in September and receive your choice of either 25 portrait holiday cards or a set of 3 mini brag books!

And check out the awesome balloons from Bama Balloons! They were so kind to give these to me at Babypalooza on Saturday so I had to put them to good use

{sneak peek} Birmingham, alabama newborn photographer

Mandy and I hit up the antique store yesterday and found some fun new things for the studio. Just in time… we had a sweet newborn baby boy here with us this morning so we got to play! Oh my was he a dream to work with- he rocked out his session in just about an hour (and for those who have had a newborn session or shoot newborn sessions- you know this is a pretty darn good time!)
