As many of you know, I lost my beloved doggie of 8 years, Keely, almost 2 years ago. I just haven’t been able to get another dog since then- no dog could ever compare with her. EVER.
My mother-in-law’s dog recently had puppies and she picked one out especially for Hannah. I fought back and forth with myself over it as the weeks ticked by. Thanksgiving Day- today- would be the day they were six weeks old and ready for a new home. Hannah has been spending a lot of time at their house recently and fell in love with the puppy. So the puppy named Lola came home with us today when we left their house after our Thanksgiving lunch together. (deep breaths, Barbara- I mean, come on, you gave me the news that you were engaged via email so you can find out we have a puppy via blog! hee hee!)
Hannah is so in love with Lola- does it show much???
p.s. She is going to be a very small dog- she’s a terrier mix. She’ll probably be smaller than Keely so she’s easily portable and already likes to ride in the car. :)
