After my morning session at the studio, I headed out to the gardens to photograph a BIG family! The ringleader of setting up this session was Len- and he and I go waaayyyy back. Well, we go back about 6 years anyway- back to the days when I worked with him at an investments firm. (aka my “former career life”) As soon as I started taking pictures, he became my biggest fan and said that one day I would be a full-time photographer and my investment world would be a thing of the past. Of course, at that time I laughed and thought “yeah right… that would be the day!” but look- HERE I AM! He was totally right and I appreciate his support throughout the past few years. :)
I finally got to get HIS family in front of my lens yesterday and they surprised me with family who had come in from all over. I was so happy to get to photograph everyone with the sweet little 6-month-old who was the star of the show. These photographs are going to mean SO much to him one day.
This is my dear friend Len, his beautiful wife and that sweet grandbaby of theirs…
