Wow- I can’t believe it is already December!! Our Elf, Elfie, arrived a few days ago and has already been getting into lots of mischief- including painting a mustache on Hannah last night!

It was finally time to get our Christmas tree and decorations out so today we set out for the task. After hauling everything from the attic, we got the pre-lit tree all set up, plugged it in…. and only parts of the tree lit up. Just my luck! After lots of fiddling with it, we packed it back up and decided to go buy a new tree. A half hour later we were back home and setting up our NEW tree.

Hannah loves unpacking the ornaments each year- our tree is decorated with years and years worth of memories through handmade and gifted ornaments. And of course the bottom is especially full where Hannah decorates.

Monday evening Hannah and I set out for her own session to mark the beginning of kindergarten! Some of our friends joined us too :) Here’s a few shots as well as some designs for her coffee table book I’ll be printing. :):)

We had some sparkler fun as part of our “pre-fourth of July” driveway sparkler extravaganza last night. ;) I hope you all have a wonderful holiday!

I’m taking a few days off and heading to the beach tomorrow with my best friend and her family from Texas. Seaside, here we come!

What a nice surprise to wake up and look out the window to find everything covered in white. :) We took the morning off before heading in to the studio to play in the snow! Chad, Hannah and I had a blast sledding, making snow angels and having snowball fights!

oh, and a little snow trampoline jumpin’ :)

Ok… flurries day! Any kind of snow we get around here is considered a snow day. ;)

I know…. the blog has been horribly neglected during the holiday season and I PROMISE I’ll post some pics of the recent sessions! We have had SO many! I am truly thankful for all of our wonderful clients :)

Yesterday we made the trip to Atlanta to do a newborn session and then in the afternoon we went to American Girl! Hannah has been looking forward to this for quite some time and loves getting their catalogs in the mail. :)

My sweet Hannah- she makes such a good model! When the box from Classy Sassy Girls arrived, she knew something fun was inside. Imagine the squeals when I opened it and revealed two fun pettiskirts to photograph for them! Of course she was totally game for being the model for one of them! She and I hung out at the studio today and I snapped a few of her wearing one. :)

Happy Easter everyone!

Yesterday Hannah and I went with Mandy, Grace and Mandy’s parents to an awesome Easter egg hunt. The girls had a blast and it was nice for Mandy and I to just have a day off as well!

This year Hannah was much more into the actual egg hunting. Last year she got left in the dust by all of the older kids and got maybe three eggs. This year she certainly made up. They had sooooo many eggs that everyone’s baskets were overflowing!

The girls definitely enjoyed going through all of the eggs to find what goodies were in them…

see… told ya there were LOTS of eggs!

Hannah’s 4th birthday party

4? Really? FOUR?! It’s hard to believe that Hannah will officially be 4 on Tuesday. We had her “Princess and the Frog” birthday party today with some of her best little friends and they had a BLAST! We couldn’t have asked for a better day… a bounce castle, fabulous weather, friends and food… Here’s a few shots from our day!

and Hannah’s friend Ella gave her a REAL frog! Hannah named him “Herman the Frog” which is what she calls Kermit the Frog. So really his name is Kermit. ;) (taken with my iPhone)

My baby will be FOUR in 10 days! I just can’t believe it…

I took her to the studio with me today to do some shots for her birthday invitation and thought I’d share a few of them with you all! She is having a “Princess and the Frog” birthday party hence the frog dress. :)

She tried to fit on this little bed that my photographer friend Lori brought to the studio. I can’t wait to try it on someone just a *tad* smaller! ;)

Yesterday was also a big day when we got SNOW! Hannah had watched the forecast with us and when she woke up yesterday morning she was disappointed to find no snow on the ground but I assured her it was “on it’s way.” I crossed my fingers that they were right on the forecast this time and sure enough about mid-morning the snow started falling and it snowed all day long! With a grand total of about 2 inches, we had ourselves a good ole time building a tiny snowman and having snowball fights. :)
