A cold and foggy morning turned bright and sunny by mid-morning… just in time for our session! I can’t believe this little one is already 7 months old and sitting up. I’ve said it a million times but I just can’t get over how quickly these little ones grow up!

It’s been busy busy busy at the studio! Holiday season is definitely keeping us on our toes! We have tons of boxes full of goodies from gorgeous portraits to holiday cards coming in each day. (and a huge-ever-growing-pile of empty boxes to prove it!)

Just had to share one from this morning- we turned the studio into a winter wonderland for our morning sessions. Here’s the sweet C twins at almost 6 months old. :)

I got back from Colorado Monday evening and got straight back into the swing of things yesterday morning at the studio! What better way to get back to work than to spend the morning with sweet Bella? Can’t believe she’s already ONE!

and this morning I got to see Mr. J who was the very first newborn of 2011 at the studio. Just look at him now!

I woke up this morning sick. Really? Have I not spent enough time with doctors the past two weeks? I’ve had stress tests, echos, heart monitors, biopsies and even diagnosed with asthma this past week and I wake up sick?!?! Sigh. At least I knew the signs of the classic sinus infection (non-contagious) I always get this time of year so I headed off to the doc to get my shots and meds to get me started on the path to wellness before my flight to Colorado tomorrow. (more on this trip to come- photographing a sweet newborn and going to a photographers retreat where I get to be a guest speaker! fun!)

The morning was definitely brightened as I headed to the studio pumped up after my shots to photograph Miss A who is turning one. Another one of my sweet newborns who I’ve been photographing over her first year and today was the momentous first birthday session. The sun even decided to peek out after days and days of nothing but darkness and rain. The day was definitely turning around. :)

Let me tell ya- Miss A rocked it out. Anything I wanted to try with her she was game. We did her portraits and then on to the smash cake (which she totally LOVED!) and finished it off with a bubble bath outside. Perfect session. Love you sweet Addie.

I know, horribly behind on blogging again so here are some peeks at some super sweet newborns we photographed this last week!

We took a trip over to Tuscaloosa to photograph this sweet new little one. I photographed his big sister’s newborn photos in their home as well- so hard to believe she is now two and has a little brother!

What a busy week at the studio! We had a fun time photographing families, kiddos and even sweet newborn twins!

Miss A- 9 months old to the day! Took a trip out to the botanical gardens to meet up with Miss A- we celebrated her 8 month birthday! And it was exactly one year ago to the date of the newborn session that we photographed this little one’s first birthday session!
