I can’t believe it’s already the first day of September! The holidays are going to be here before we know it…

Upon checking my calendar today I realized we have a few session spots still open for September since most have opted for October for their fall sessions. SO- if YOU would like your session in September, we’ve got an incentive for you. ;) Book your session (be it family, newborn, baby, kiddos) for a date in September and receive your choice of either 25 portrait holiday cards or a set of 3 mini brag books!

Today we had a little fun in the studio with Hannah and Grace as we photographed some adorable headbands from Celeste and Company.

And check out the awesome balloons from Bama Balloons! They were so kind to give these to me at Babypalooza on Saturday so I had to put them to good use

Mandy and I hit up the antique store yesterday and found some fun new things for the studio. Just in time… we had a sweet newborn baby boy here with us this morning so we got to play! Oh my was he a dream to work with- he rocked out his session in just about an hour (and for those who have had a newborn session or shoot newborn sessions- you know this is a pretty darn good time!)

I have been excited about this session as soon as we got the session inquiry… mom and daughter home to visit the family… beautiful farm land… ahhh. I could already picture it in my mind!

This morning we finally got to meet them and do the shoot and it was oh so much fun! I was so inspired- we had a gorgeous morning to work with, a gorgeous location and three gorgeous girls! Mom and little one are visiting from South Carolina and will actually be heading home tomorrow so we got the session in just in time. :)

First meet the star of the show! The told us that she really didn’t like the camera… coulda fooled me!! ;)

I won’t tell you how we got this next shot… but let’s just say there were lots of giggles. ;)

This morning I got to hang out with Miss K and today just happens to be her FIRST birthday! I have enjoyed photographing her over this past year and watching her grow. We had so much fun playing both indoors and out… I just loved the series we got out behind the studio!

Of course we had to end our morning with some smash cake pics!

K wanted to make sure to share the cake with her mom… and I think mom ended up wearing more cake than her! ;)

Monday minis at the studio are back this month!

This sweet 5 year old came to see us this morning. In just two days she’ll be an official kindergartner!

Holiday minis will be announced next week! Also… we’ll be back down at the beach- Labor Day on 30A! I have a Tuesday (the 7th) and Thursday (the 9th) spot still available if you’re interested in a beach session in the Seaside/Destin area! :)
