Happy New Year! birmingham alabama birth and newborn photographer

Happy 2014!!

I can’t believe a new year is already upon us!  Lots of exciting things coming up this year at SFP.  One of our new options this year is our “Fresh 48″ session which is a great alternative to birth photography for those who don’t want the entire labor and delivery coverage but still want pictures of the first few hours of baby’s life.  I will come to the hospital sometime 24-48 hours after baby has arrived and document your little world!  While we typically book a couple of months in advance, this option is a little more flexible and even if you contact us last minute I might, just might be able to fit you in!:)  We also have an awesome newborn session all inclusive special for Winter 2014 as well.  Email us at sfphotographystudio@gmail.com for more information or to get your due date secured on our calendar!

I just recently finished up this session and order for a sweet newborn baby boy that visited us at the studio a few weeks ago.  I just love the portraits that we were able to capture of him and all of his sweet newness!  I thought I’d share some of my favorites from his newborn gallery.  Always an honor when clients chose me to document these wonderful memories for them… I have the most amazing job in the world.

We are almost full for newborn session spots for 2013 and are booking into 2014 due dates now so if you’re interested in a newborn session- it’s never too early to secure your session spot!  Email us at sfphotographystudio@gmail.com

Photographers:  We still offer newborn mentoring and workshops at our studio!  If you are interested in joining us for a day of newborn goodness at the studio, email us for more information!

Hannah has recently lost her two front teeth and although she was supposed to be a pirate for Halloween… when she came across the Tooth Fairy costume in the latest Chasing Fireflies catalog and fell in love… how could I resist?!  The past week she has been counting all of her piggy bank money in hopes she had enough to get the costume.  Much to her surprise, when she got home from school today she found a big box waiting for her.  Inside… her Tooth Fairy costume. :)

I had to be at the studio for an afternoon session so since she already had it on I figured it was the perfect time for a little photo session of her own!:)
